Solano Classic we finished the day 1-1.
We played incredibly against Feather River, the defending 3C2A Champions taking the first set and then losing the next three.
22-25, 25-11, 25-22, 25-19
Lilli Mass led us with 13 kills and served 11-11 with an ace
Aliyah Aguiar added 10 kills
Kaylie Reyes added 9 kills, led on defense with 19 digs, and 11 assist
Giana Guintu chipped in 7 kills, 14 digs and 23 assist
Jasmine Ting led the defense with 16 digs, serving 18-20 with an ace
Both Kenzie Lovell and Maui Asuncion chipped in 2 aces apiece
We are very proud of this team, playing the #1 team in the state and hanging in with them, beating them in set #1. We had an impressive hitting percentage as a team,
Next, we played and Gavilan College of beat them in three sets: 25-13, 25-8, 25-11
Giana Guintu led the offense with 10 kills and led with 16 assists
Kaylie Reyes added 9 kills, 13 assists and 14-14 serving with 3 aces
Lilli Mass had a great night at the net with 9 kills and two blocks
Aliyah Aguiar chipped in 7 kills and a block
Kyra Ierome added two blocks
Ashley Conley chipped in 2 kills on zero errors and a block
Kyla Stephenson served 8-8 with 3 aces
The team led the season with 17 aces and their best hitting percentage at .375
The entire team was able to contribute to this win. It's nice to be able to give everyone a chance to play. I think we are ready to steam roll into Bay Valley Conference play said Coach Williams.
