Solano College Tennis Heads to Prestigious Ojai State Event
The Ojai Tennis Tournament—widely regarded as one of the premier showcases of collegiate tennis in California—will feature a strong contingent from Solano College as both the men’s and women’s teams prepare to compete against the state’s top talent.
The Falcons will be well represented across singles and doubles competition, highlighting the depth and balance of the program on both sides.
On the men’s side, Forest Reilly and Clyde Yanez have earned spots in the singles draw, where they will test themselves against elite competition from across the state. Reilly will also team up with Daniel Feria in doubles play, while the duo of Jamil Johnson and Clyde Yanez adds another competitive pairing for Solano in the doubles bracket.
The women’s lineup is equally impressive, led by singles qualifiers Ezrielle Llave and Victoria Silva. Both athletes have been key contributors throughout the season and will look to carry that momentum into postseason play. In doubles, Solano will send three teams into the tournament: Exrielle Llave and Naomi Munro, Victoria Silva and Althea Yabut, and the pairing of Mya Crumby and Kalyse Payne, giving the Falcons a strong presence across multiple flights.
The Ojai event serves as a culminating stage for the season, bringing together the best players from community colleges across California. With its long-standing tradition and high level of competition, the tournament offers athletes a unique opportunity to compete in a championship atmosphere while representing their programs on a prestigious platform.
For Solano College, participation in the Ojai Tournament reflects a successful season and continued growth within the program.
