Solano Women’s Tennis Sweeps Folsom Lake in Conference Clash, 8-1

The Solano Community College women’s tennis team delivered a dominant performance Tuesday afternoon, defeating Folsom Lake College 8-1 in a Big 8 Conference matchup.
Solano controlled the match from the start, taking two of three doubles contests before sweeping all six singles matches in straight sets.
Strong Start in Doubles
The Falcons secured the early advantage with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles:

Folsom Lake’s lone point of the afternoon came at No. 1 doubles, where S. Dubinets / S. Real edged E. Llave / K. Payne, 9-7 in a tightly contested battle.

Solano left no doubt in singles play, winning all six matches in commanding fashion.
