Bio
Alonso Frias is entering his first season as head coach for the Solano women's soccer program. Frias previously served as an assistant coach for the program from 2021-2023.
He also currently serves as head coach of the Armijo High School boys varsity soccer team. He started off as a JV head coach at Armijo where he earned back to back championships, including the first undefeated season in school history.
He also coaches locally for Solano Surf and has been a coach there for the previous 4 years.
Frias attended Solano College from 2015-17 where he received his Associates degree. He received his bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University in 2020.
Frias is currently obtaining his National B Coaching License under the U.S. Soccer Federation.
Frias holds a National D and C license, along with a Mexico coaching certificate. Frias has also been working in a coaching course with MLS club San Jose Earthquakes
He has over 15 years of experience playing competitive soccer at the club, high school, and UPSL levels.
Outside of coaching, Frias serves full-time as a Kinesiology/Athletics Assistant at Solano College.
