Napa, Calif. - Four Falcons counted a goal each as the Solano women's soccer team shut out Napa Valley, 4-0, on Tuesday afternoon.
Freshman Shane-Nicole Sheppard scored the go-ahead goal in the second minute off an assist from freshman Ximena Rodriguez for the team's lone goal in the first half. Sophomore Savannah Crews tacked on a goal in the 49th minute with Rodriguez and freshman Katherine Umana earning assists. Rodriguez followed with a goal of her own in the 57th minute from a feed from freshman Dakota Marin before Marin scored off a ball from Umana in the 87th minute.
Freshmen Fatima Guzman and Bailey Erbland split halves in the goal at keeper.
Solano (8-6-1, 7-2-1) remains on the road, heading to Yuba on Tuesday, Nov. 2 for a 4 p.m. match.
