Solano Shines at Hawk Invitational with Multiple Podium Finishes

The Solano College swim team turned in an impressive performance at the Hawk Invitational, highlighted by standout efforts from Parker Benvio, Emma Wilhite and Luc Ferrer.

Wilhite led the way for the Falcons, earning a combined 100/200 Butterfly award after placing second overall across the two events. Her strong showing in both races demonstrated her consistency and endurance, making her one of the top performers of the meet.

On the men’s side, Ferrer delivered a podium finish in the sprint backstroke, taking third place in the 50 Backstroke with a time of 25.48. His performance showcased both speed and precision in a highly competitive field.

The invitational brought together a deep pool of talent, and Solano’s ability to secure top finishes reflects the team’s continued growth and competitiveness this season.

The Falcons will look to build on this momentum as they prepare for the Conference Championships.
