Monterey, Calif. - The Solano men's basketball team outlasted Gavilan, 113-104, in double overtime to open the Monterey Peninsula Tournament on Thursday afternoon.
Sophomore Dunnell Stafford led the way for the Falcons with 34 points, hitting four three-pointers, while sophomore Jordan Adams was close behind with 29 points with six made threes. Sophomore Uriah Benning rounded out the top scorers for Solano with 17 points.
The Falcons (3-5) will face West Valley in the semifinals on Friday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.
