Fairfield, Calif. - After a tied first half, Solano was unable to score in the final pair of minutes, dropping a tight game to Alameda, 71-66, on Wednesday evening.
The Falcons led 66-65 before Alameda went on a six-point run to close out the contest.
Freshman Aaron Kelly led the Falcons with 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including a three-pointer. He added six boards and two assists. Solano was perfect at the charity stripe.
Solano (2-15, 0-6) head to Mendocino next on Friday, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m.
