Monterey, Calif. - The Solano men's basketball team held on to defeat Irvine Valley, 56-54, on Saturday afternoon to secure third place at the Monterey Peninsula Classic.
Freshman Aaron Kelly was named to the All-Tournament squad after leading the Falcons with 15 points and seven rebounds.
The Falcons (2-6) head to American River next on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m.
