Los Angeles, Calif. - The Solano baseball team was edged in the eighth inning by LA Mission, falling 4-3 in the series finale on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman third baseman Eli De Guzman led the Falcon offense with a 2-for-4 outing with a double and two RBI.
On the mound, freshman reliever Nate Mandrik (0-1) was charged with the loss, allowing three earned runs on four hits and three walks in 4.1 innings pitched.
Solano (3-12) returns home to open Bay Valley Conference play, hosting Mendocino on Tuesday, Mar. 3 at 2 p.m.
