Solano Beach Volleyball Dominates Siskyous, 4-1
The Solano beach volleyball team delivered a commanding performance, defeating Siskyous 4-1 in a strong all-around team effort.
Solano set the tone early in the No. 1 matchup, as Guintu and Reyes powered past Moala and Speasl in straight sets, 21-14, 21-14. The duo controlled the match from start to finish with consistent serves and aggressive net play.
In the No. 2 contest, Davis and Projillo secured another win for Solano, defeating Graviet and Lucido 21-12, 23-21. After cruising through the first set, Davis and Projillo held their composure in a tightly contested second set to seal the victory.
Siskyous picked up its lone win at the No. 3 spot. Brown and Paarsh rebounded after dropping the first set 6-21 to Conley and Ting, rallying to win the next two sets 21-18 and 15-11 to claim the three-set battle.
SOL quickly regained momentum in the No. 4 match, where Mass and Ierome earned a straight-sets victory over Brooks and Smith, 21-15, 21-16.
Lovell and Caliboso closed out the day in dominant fashion for SOL, defeating Hansen and Rowe 21-18, 21-10 in the No. 5 matchup.

Solano Sweeps Butte 5-0 at Santa Rosa JC
SANTA ROSA — Solano delivered a dominant performance on the sand, sweeping Butte 5-0 in women’s beach volleyball action at Santa Rosa JC.
The No. 1 duo of Guintu and Reyes battled through a tight opening set before finding their rhythm to defeat Fuentes and Hart, 22-20, 21-11. After edging out the first set, the Solano pair took full control in the second to secure the straight-sets win.
At No. 2, Davis and Projillo were in command from the start, cruising past Zaring and Babcock 21-13, 21-6. Their consistent serving and strong net play kept Butte on the defensive throughout the match.
Conley and Ting continued the momentum at the No. 3 spot, earning a 21-14, 21-9 victory over Stepp and Burger. Solano maintained steady pressure in both sets to extend the team lead.
Mass and Ierome added another straight-sets win at No. 4, defeating Simson and Keys 21-10, 21-14. The pair controlled the tempo and limited scoring opportunities for Butte.
Lovell and Caliboso capped the sweep with a 21-12, 21-9 win over Love and Blumert at No. 5, sealing the 5-0 team victory.
With the sweep, Solano showcased its depth across all five flights in an impressive road performance.
