Solano Sweeps Sacramento City, 5-0, in Dominant Beach Volleyball Showing
The Solano College beach volleyball team delivered a commanding performance with a 5-0 sweep over Sacramento City, showcasing depth and consistency across all flights.
Solano set the tone early at the No. 1 position, where the duo of Guintu and Reyes secured a straight-sets victory over Florez and Azua, 21-18, 21-14. The Falcons continued their momentum at No. 2, as Davis and Projillo battled through a competitive matchup to defeat Zhurko and Talamori in straight sets, 21-15, 21-13.
At the No. 3 spot, Mass and Ierome turned in a dominant effort, cruising past Scroggins and Batiratu 21-17, 21-8 to extend Solano’s lead.
Solano clinched the team victory with wins by forfeit at both the No. 4 and No. 5 positions, as Calvelo and Lovell, along with Ting and Conley, were awarded victories.
With the sweep, Solano continues to build momentum as the postseason approaches, demonstrating strong pair chemistry and depth throughout the lineup.
