Solano Beach Volleyball Secures 4–1 Victory Over Sacramento City
The Solano College beach volleyball team delivered a strong performance in a 4–1 win over Sacramento City College, showcasing depth and consistency across the lineup.
The Falcons battled in a tightly contested No. 1 matchup, where the duo of Guintu/Reyes pushed their opponents to three sets before falling just short. After taking the first set 21–17, they dropped the next two in a hard-fought finish, 21–13 and 15–13.
Solano responded with authority across the remaining courts, claiming victories in four straight matches. At the No. 2 position, Davis/Projillo set the tone with a decisive straight-set win, 21–14, 21–16. The No. 3 pair of Mass/Ierome followed with a solid 21–14, 21–18 victory, maintaining momentum for the Falcons.
Ting/Calvelo continued the dominant stretch at No. 4, securing another straight-set win, 21–14, 21–15. Solano capped off the team victory at the No. 5 spot, where Lovell/Conley earned a forfeit win to seal the 4–1 result.
Solano Beach Volleyball Falls in Close 3–2 Battle to American River
The Solano College beach volleyball team came up just short in a tightly contested 3–2 loss to American River College, with multiple matches going down to the wire.
Solano picked up a key point at the No. 1 position, where Guintu/Reyes battled through a three-set thriller to earn the victory. After splitting the first two sets, the pair held on for a 17–15 win in the निर्णing third set to give the Falcons an early edge.

The dual ultimately came down to the No. 5 match, where American River’s Rossi/Gomez claimed the deciding point with a 21–12, 21–10 victory.
Despite the loss, Solano showed resilience and competitiveness throughout the lineup, with two wins and several closely contested sets highlighting the Falcons’ effort.
