Football Alumni Jacob Wright Event April 19, 2026
Jacob Wright was a Solano College Football player 1995-96, please read his story and check out the details of this great event.
This link is where people can buy the tickets and can read more about what we’re doing and why. There two different flyers because one focuses on the football skills camp at the event and the other is the event flyer.
Thank you so much for helping get this information out there to the people.

Dear Community Members,
The Second Annual Coach Jacob Wright Field Day event is here and will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, 1-3 p.m. at the Wildcat Stadium in honor of our beloved Coach Jacob Wright, who unexpectedly passed away in 2023. Coach Wright was a pillar in our school and our community, his dedication to family, health, community, education, and football has left an indelible mark on all of us.
The Coach Jacob Wright Foundation was established by his widow and his sister to carry on Coach Wright’s commitment to the youth. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity and Coach Jacob Wright Field Day is our annual fundraiser. Field Day is a community event that features a variety of activities to promote family bonding and healthy living all while having fun. A football skills camp is at the heart of this event but there’s truly something for everyone; food trucks, silent auction, photo booth, community outreach, workout classes, walk/run-a-thon and a kid’s zone with activities provided by the Vacaville’s Boys and Girls Club plus more.
We are reaching out to you, our valued community members, to ask for your support in making this event a success. Donations will help us cover the costs of organizing the event, equipment and swag bags for participants of the football skills camp, proceeds will go to scholarship programs and give support to local football programs. Last year’s event created two student-athlete scholarships that are being offered to this year’s graduating class as Will C Wood High School. We plan to create a football scholarship for a student-athlete from Solano County as well, in addition, for next year.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in ensuring that we can honor Coach Wright's memory in the best possible way. Please consider making a contribution to support this meaningful cause. Whether it’s a monetary donation, sponsorship package, items for our event, or volunteering, together, we can create a memorable event that celebrates Coach Wright's life and the positive impact he had on our community.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
