Pittsburg, Calif. - The Solano women's soccer team lost a Bay Valley Conference matchup at Los Medanos, 3-1, on Tuesday afternoon.
Los Medanos took an early 2-0 lead in the first half before scoring its final goal before freshman Nayeli Barajas netted her first goal of the season off a feed from sophomore Karla Cardinal's corner kick late in the match.
Sophomore keeper Kirstyn Gotschall earned eight saves in the match.
Solano (2-5-2, 1-1) remains on the road this week, heading to Napa Vallley on Friday, Oct. 4 for a 4 p.m. match.
